Opposed the installation of meters along Sinatra Drive. The meter were installed and proved to be a failure. Councilwoman Castellano sponsored a resolution to have them removed much, to the delight of the neighborhood.

ENCOURAGING SMART DEVELOPMENT:

Preserving the 19th Century character of Hoboken, while tackling the 21st Century challenges we face has been my priority. I have always worked to stop overdevelopment by limiting the height (reduced by 20%) and reducing density of buildings and joining with citizens groups to bring stop actions against developers flouting Hoboken's Zoning Laws. I have chaired Hoboken's Historic Preservation Commission for the past 19 years, a member for 32 years. more...
